Acer has announced Iconia TAB A200, the newest member of the family Iconia Android tablet. Acer Iconia Tab A200 features a 10.1-inch screen, WXGA resolution and supported by the 1GHz, dual-core processor NVIDIA Tegra 2. Iconia TAB A200 is a tablet with Android OS 3.2 Honeycomb with 1GB of RAM. Acer offers a choice of either 8 or 16GB capacity for internal storage, and you will be able to buy the A200 with a choice of color or Titanium Gray Metallic Red.
The back of the tablet has a finishing with a soft touch and do not have a rear-facing camera, but there is a 2 megapixel camera on the front available for video calls.
Iconia Tab A200 is expected to last for 8 hours of continuous video play with the built-in its 3260mAh battery. The tablet is not the thinnest on the market, because it has a size x12.4mm 260mm x 175mm (10.24in x 6.89in x 0.49in) and weighs 720g.
Although the A200 was launched with Android 3.2 Honeycomb, Acer has pledged to provide an upgrade to version 4.0 Android Ice Cream Sandwiches will be available early this year expected.Tablet marketed throughout the world soon, but Acer has not announced pricing information but it seems the official price could be more cheaper than its predecessor.
